O.K. guys, let’s be honest: we just love gadgets. We love anything with buttons, knobs, switches, or other cool control devices, especially when they really do something cool. Sometimes, we’re even lucky enough to find one of those rare control device gadgets that do something really cool and are even useful! What a concept!
In my most honest moments, I will confess that I occasionally fall victim to seemingly cool gadgets that don’t really do anything all that cool. For example, I cannot begin to count the number of used food processors I’ve picked up at rummage sales. Have you ever actually used one of those things? Most of the time they make more mess than they’re worth, and they’re a pain in the neck to take apart and clean. Ugh.
One cool gadget that would prove to be completely useful is an ultra-silent TV lift. Using one of these lifts, you can have your flat-screen quietly lift up out of the floor or drop down out of the ceiling at the touch of a button. If you want, it can even be controlled with a remote!
Imagine how cool it would be to just push a button and have the TV just slide down into the floor, like a big piece of toast. When you’re not watching TV, it’s out of the way so you don’t even know it’s there. (My wife is already sold on the idea based on that alone!) When you are ready to watch something, a small panel in the floor slides open, and up pops the TV. Or, if you prefer, you can have an ultra-silent TV lift installed in the ceiling so your TV can just drop down when you’re ready to watch, and then disappear when you’re done. It’s almost like magic!
Okay, now close your eyes. Imagine that you’ve invited a bunch of friends over to watch football. The guys all show up, the fridge is stocked and snacks are on the table. As game time approaches, one of the guys asks, “Where’s the TV?” You pull out your remote, push a button, and the TV quietly glides down out of the ceiling. Is there anything cooler? Of course not! (Except you!)
What are you waiting for? Football season is coming. Order one now!
