You’ve been eyeing up TV lifts for a while now, haven’t you? You’ve no doubt noticed that they’re becoming more and more common, especially in the better homes. Not only do they add a bit of a luxury touch to any home, but they’re also very practical, freeing up floor space and protecting expensive electronics at the same time.

So, which should you go with? Ceiling TV lifts or floor TV lifts? While it’s largely a matter of preference, there are some advantages and disadvantages to each.

Ceiling TV lifts allow you to make full use of your floor space. Your TV is kept up high, well out of harm’s way. Many viewers also find that having the television placed up higher allows for a better view. No one needs to worry about blocking one another’s view when the television set is up high. Inca’s ceiling TV lifts are barely noticeable when the television is hidden.

The main disadvantage of ceiling TV lifts is that the TV is up high. As long as you keep track of the remote control, that doesn’t present a problem. If you’re one of those people who can’t keep track of things, though, you may have to climb up on a chair or spend time hunting the remote before you can watch TV.

Floor TV lifts raise your TV from below the floor up into viewing position. The big disadvantage is that you need to keep the area above the television clear. You can walk over it, and children can play over it, but the floor above the TV will need to be clear enough to make room for the TV when it’s raised.

The advantage is that the television is still within easy arm’s reach when it’s out. Additionally, some viewers prefer the television closer to eye level (or even below eye level).

Whether you decide to go with floor TV lifts or ceiling TV lifts, one thing is certain: you want to go with Inca TV Lifts. Inca TV Lifts offer a wide variety of TV Lifts, including custom TV lifts, at highly competitive prices.
