Now You See It, Now You Don’t
If space is hard to come by in your home, or if you simply prefer clean lines in your living spaces, consider the pop-up TV cabinet.
It’s funny how strict the division is between those who prefer to have a TV in their bedroom and those who don’t. There’s really no middle ground for either camp—save for 
the pop-up TV cabinet. One minute, you’re chilling in bed, watching Netflix. The next, there’s no TV in sight, and your bedroom’s a tranquil oasis, just as your light-sleeping partner prefers it. Think of it as the TV console for flat-screens that saves marriages.
We love our windows and open floor plans, but neither is all that conducive to positioning a TV. You certainly don’t want to block a view. But, with fewer, if any, interior walls, your options are somewhat limited. A flat-screen TV lift cabinet solves that puzzle. Again, it’s there when you need it and gone when you don’t.
Ever-present as TVs have become in our lives, try to imagine your home without one. Without one in plain view, at least. Of course we’re not asking you to dump all of your TVs. That’d be crazy. Instead of walking into a given room—the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom (!)—and having the TV be the first thing you see, suddenly you’re noticing those accessories you once spent so long picking out and positioning or even the people in it. That’s the power of a TV lift.
