A TV shouldn’t be the most dominant piece of furniture in your bedroom
Although many folks prefer that their TV not be seen, no matter where it is in the house, keeping a TV hidden is especially important in the bedroom. Perhaps this is because the bedroom is primarily a place of rest and repose, so having a TV perennially present can instead make it the focal point, changing the entire feeling of the room.
If you’re looking for a means to reclaim some of that peace, and add a touch of luxury in the process, consider installing TV lift. A lift can hide your TV in the ceiling, in the wall or even in the floor. Also, some TV lifts swivel, to provide the best angle for watching.
Here are a couple of ways of using a TV lift to add a new dimension of viewing to the most relaxing room in your home.
Hidden in the wall
One of the most innovative and creative ways to hide a TV is by mounting it in the wall. This can be accomplished by using panel lifts or a sliding panel. What covers the TV, then, is up to you—a mirror, painting or a framed print. It’s all fair game—a decided upgrade over a switched-off flatscreen.
Hidden in the ceiling
Other great options for enhancing your bedroom are ceiling TV lifts that descend from above. With one press of a button on a remote, the TV extends down from the ceiling to a height that’s suitable from watching anywhere in the room, including (especially) the bed.
Some of these units can swivel as well. So if you like to change the position of your bed from time to time, the lift can easily be adapted.
Whatever your needs or reasons for concealing the TV in your bedroom, a TV lift can accommodate. Just that easily, you can reclaim your hideout from the world, and, when you’re in the mood, binge-watch from the comfort of your own bed.
